GoldOnDesk is a small set of calculators for people who walk into a jewellery shop in India and want a rough number before the counter talk starts. You type today’s rate from newspaper, TV board, or the shop itself. We do not pull live gold rates from any feed.

The site started because festival weeks get loud. Family WhatsApp groups forward three different rates. Someone says 22k, someone says 24k per 10 gram, and making charge is told late. A simple gram times rate tool helps you ask better questions. Making percent, wastage, GST boxes sit next to that so the estimate looks closer to a bill shape.
